OAKDALE FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT CENTER BREAKS GROUND
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (October 6, 2008) – Kraus-Anderson Construction Company (KA), one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers, today broke ground on the construction of Pinz, a 48,000-square-foot family entertainment center located in the Oakdale Marketplace development off Highway 5 and 694 in Oakdale, Minn. Pinz is owned and operated by Anderson Companies of Woodbury The project is expected to completed and open to the public
The entertainment center will house 34 lanes of bowling, 10 of which will be reserved for open bowling. Pinz (www.pinz.com) will also include a 5,000-square-foot arcade area and a two-level, 3,800-square-foot laser tag arena. Pool tables and darts will be located in the large sports bar. The facility will also have a private dining room, pub-style restaurant and space for private parties in adjacent party rooms. Anchor Bank is financing the project.
“We are all very excited that Pinz will soon be opening,” said Oakdale Mayor Carmen Sarrack. “The new facility will benefit the greater Oakdale area because it will bring more recreational opportunities as well as people who enjoy them.”
